Calvin Bush started with the Steel in the role of Manager, Media Relations prior to the start of the 2023-2024 season.
Prior to joining the team, Calvin worked as the Director of Media & Communications for the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) from 2021-2023. He also worked as the team's road play-by-play broadcaster. Prior to his time with the Jets, Calvin served as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in the Northwoods League during their championship-winning season in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was a broadcaster for the Rockford Rivets, also in the Northwoods League in the summer of 2023.
Calvin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Sports Management. He went on to work as a Graduate Assistant in Athletic Communications at Carthage College while studying Educational Leadership for a semester.
A native of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Calvin currently resides in Geneva.
