The Steel will play the entire 2025-2026 season at Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva.
What is Blackhawks Ice Center and where is it located?
Blackhawks Ice Center will serve as the premier sports and entertainment destination, the epicenter for Midwest hockey and home to unforgettable experiences that go beyond the ice. It is located at 1801 W. Jackson Blvd. in Chicago and serves as the Chicago Blackhawks official training home.
How many ice sheets will be at Blackhawks Ice Center and which one will the Steel play and practice on?
Once the expansion is completed, there will be four ice sheets at Blackhawks Ice Center. The Steel will play and practice at USG Arena, located on the west side of the facility.
When will Blackhawks Ice Center expansion be completed?
Construction was officially completed in February, and the arena is currently open to the public.
When will the Steel relocate to Blackhawks Ice Center?
The Steel will relocate in the summer of 2026 following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season which will be played in its entirety at Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva.
Will current Steel season ticket holders have seat selection priority at USG Arena?
Yes. Current Steel season ticket and mini-plan holders will receive priority to select their seat location at USG Arena. Information will be sent to Steel season ticket holders in early 2026 with ticket pricing and priority procedures for seat selection.
When will ticket pricing be released for the Steel at USG Arena and when will tickets go on sale?
Ticket pricing and information will be released in early 2026, and season ticket plans will go on sale then, starting with existing Steel season ticket holders.
What should I do if I'm not an existing Steel season ticket holder but I'm interested in ticket information?
Please join the ticket interest list by filling out the form located here. There is no deposit required at this time to join the ticket interest list.
Will the Steel continue to offer group experiences such as the Youth Hockey Experience, birthday packages, presentation of colors, and national anthem performances?
Yes. The Steel intend to offer similar experiences at their new home.
What will parking be like on game days at Blackhawks Ice Center?
Blackhawks Ice Center expansion includes additional parking, and there are several parking options within a five minute walk of the venue.
Can fans take public transportation to games at Blackhawks Ice Center?
Blackhawks Ice Center is easily accessible by the CTA Blue Line. The closest station is the Illinois Medical District station.
What will the seating be like at USG Arena at Blackhawks Ice Center?
Over 95% of the seating bowl will be stadium seating with several rows reserved for benches as well as accessible seating areas and party decks.
Will accessible seating be available?
Yes. There will be accessible seating options in USG Arena.
Will there be premium seating areas at USG Arena?
Yes. There are party decks on the north and south sides of the arena.

CENTENNIAL HALL – Situated between Rink 3 and USG Arena, Centennial Hall is an immersive tribute to the franchise's 100-year legacy, featuring dynamic displays, rotating artifact cases and interactive storytelling that connect visitors of all ages to the franchise's rich history. Free and open to the public during facility hours, the space celebrates defining eras, championship milestones and the individuals who shaped the team's culture and impact. Yes. The Steel intend to take fan-favorite theme nights, in-game promotions and other events and will look to enhance them at their new home.
Will the Steel have their own locker room facilities at USG Arena?
Yes, the Steel will have their own hockey operations facilities located on the north side of the USG Arena. The team space includes brand new locker rooms, dry lockers, athletic training room with cold/hot tubs, equipment/laundry facilities, coaches offices and a player lounge.
What other areas of the facility will the Steel utilize?
While the Steel will have their own brand new hockey operations area, they will utilize other facility amenities including the gym for off-ice training and the off-ice skills studio.
When will the Steel hold their Tryout/Development Camp at Blackhawks Ice Center?
The Steel will hold their first Tryout/Development Camp at Blackhawks Ice Center in 2026.
Where will Steel players live when the team relocates?
