Daniel Skrzypchak joined the Steel in the role of Graphic Design & Video Manager near the end of the 2023-2024 season. 

He graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) in 2023, earning a degree in Digital Media Communication with minors in Sports Media and Graphic Design. At MVNU, Daniel worked for the athletic department in various roles, was the graphic designer for The Viewer newspaper, and also gained experience as a radio DJ, camera operator, and volleyball color commentator for WNZR. He played on the men’s volleyball team for 3 seasons and spent 1 season as a women’s volleyball assistant coach. He also has freelance experience as a video editor and graphic designer.

A native of Elgin, Daniel’s passion for digital media was sparked at the Beacon Academy of Media & Digital Arts, a magnet program at South Elgin High School.
