Bobby Goepfert

A native of Long Island, NY, Goepfert played two seasons in the USHL for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, winning Goalie of the Year and Player of the Year in 2002 before a standout collegiate career at St. Cloud State University where he was a two-time All-American and Hobey Baker Finalist. He also represented the United States internationally at the Four Nations Tournament, Viking Cup and World Junior Championship in 2003 where he boasted the tournament’s top save percentage.

A sixth round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Goepfert played three seasons in the AHL and ECHL before heading to Europe where he spent six seasons in the DEL with the Hamburg Freezers and Dusseldorfer EG.

After retiring, Goepfert spent two seasons as an Assistant Coach with Cedar Rapids and one season as Volunteer Assistant with Boston University.
